The Age of CBD

Cannabidiol (CBD) molecule

A fuller understanding of the substances found in the cannabis plant has only been with us since the mid-20th century. The chemical compound cannabidiol – otherwise known as CBD – was first isolated in the 1940's. Now, with the latest development in technology, CBD is being used in an array of formats, including Satipharm CBD Gelpell® capsules, soft gel capsules, oils, vape pens and skincare.
The World Health Organisation Report. In November 2017, the World Health Organisation reported that in humans, “CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential.”

It added, “To date, there is no evidence of recreational use of CBD or any public health-related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”
